Join Ad 2 Milwaukee for our first annual Social Media Scavenger Hunt!
The event will take place on September 28 at 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m, followed by after party, in The Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee. Participants in teams of 2, will receive scavenger hunt tasks to complete at various spots throughout the Third Ward using Twitter and Instagram to post about each task. Scoring and an after party will take place at SPiN Milwaukee after you complete the hunt. First, second, and third place will receive prizes valued $150 and up!

Tips and Rules for Scavenger Hunt:
- No solo participation, only teams of 2
- Your team must have at least one smartphone connected to your team’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.
- Your team’s designated Instagram and Twitter profiles must be public during the event (we will verify this at check-in)
- Come to the event with a full smartphone battery
- You will be required to post answers on Twitter and Instagram. In order to receive points for your answers you must include two hash tags in every post: #(YourTeamName) #Ad2MKEHunt
- You are allowed use your smartphone, friends, or others to help decode the clues.
- You may not use a car, bike, rollerblades, scooter, taxi, ostrich or any other means of public transportation during the event – just your good ol’ legs and feet.
- We are holding the event rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. No refunds will be granted for no-shows.
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing (gym shoes recommended)
- Bring a photo ID
- Bring cash or check to participate in the raffle and to receive discounted Ad 2 Milwaukee membership during the after party.
- Check-in starts at 12:30pm at Club Charlies (320 E. Menomonee St., Milwaukee, WI) and closes at 1:00pm. You must be checked in by 1:00pm. The hunt will begin promptly after.
- We recommend that both team members arrive at the same time. You will be checked in using your team and individual names.
- You will be required to sign the event’s liability waiver to participate – No need to print or bring a copy.
- Upon check-in, you will receive a bag from Club Charlies including a T-shirt, a $5 gift card and coupons/discounts from local businesses. We recommend putting this in your car or finding a place to store it during the hunt.
- You will receive your envelope of clues during check-in. Do not open until the event begins!
- You may arrive at the after party at SPiN (233 E. Chicago St., Milwaukee, WI) as soon as you are finished with the hunt.
- Winners will be announced at 3:00pm.
- You will receive your Ad 2 Milwaukee t-shirt at the after party.
- Raffle winners will be announced at the after party, and you must be present to win.
- SPiN is a table-tennis club and bar. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
- Free table-tennis will be available at select tables for hunt participants.
- SPiN will have discounted specials for food and drink available for purchase.
